i went out with my friends to west coast park yesterday to do a project. basically, my group is planning next years sec 1 orientation camp, so we went there to survey the place and see where we can do games. our group's name is BUMBLEBEE. haha. so anyway. we went there, planned the games already, then were resting n walking around. in the middle of the field, we saw this man playing with a BIG BUMBLEBEE KITE. we were quite surprised and happy and we wanted to take a picture with his kite! so we walked nearer and nearer to him. but as we got nearer, we saw that his arm was covered in tattoos. we looked at each other and asked if we should still go ask him. we just kept walking. we looked at each other, then nodded. then one of my friends asked him nicely if we could.

what came next was unexpected. we were all ready to get rejected, but the tattoo-ed man said, 'ya sure! why not!(: (:' and passed the kite to us. we were like wow!

so what i learnt through this is really how we cannot judge a book by its cover. although people might look fierce or appear unfriendly at first we should really get to know him first before we make any judgements.
